We're updating the Buzz x HubSpot integration to make the
Lead Source
field optional when pushing prospect data to HubSpot.Previously, the
lead_source
field was included by default in every data push. With this update, you'll have full control over whether that field is sent — and you can toggle it on or off at any time, including during a manual push.Why we made this change
If your HubSpot Lead Source property is configured as anything other than
single-line text
(for example, a dropdown or a custom field type), sending data to that field could cause the push to fail, resulting in lost data. Making this field optional prevents that issue and gives you greater flexibility in how your HubSpot instance is set up.How it works
Enable/disable the feature by going to the HubSpot integration settings:

During a manual push, you can choose whether to include the Lead Source field on the spot — overriding your default integration settings for greater flexibility:

We're making the Salesforce integration more flexible. You can now
configure key settings individually
for each connected Social Account, giving you more control over how your data flows.Now, you have the ability to configure settings on a
per-Social-Account basis
. Here's what can be set individually:- Assign a Fallback Accountfor companies
- Assign a Preselected Contact Ownerin Salesforce
- Turn the Prospect Activity Synctoggle on or off
- For Activity Sync, assign new contacts to specific owners in Salesforce

✍🏻 A Few Naming Changes
We've also tidied up some of the namings you'll see in the integration settings. Here's what's new:
- Default Contact Owner in CRM → Preselected Contact Owner
- Company Sync to Salesforce Accounts → Link Сontacts to Accounts by Сompany Name
- CRM Owner for Activity Sync → Assign new contacts to.
We hope this update helps make your settings easier to understand and navigate.

Heads up:
If you have the integration connected, it will be automatically disabled when this update goes live. You'll need to review your settings, configure them as needed for each Social Account, and re-enable the integration.

Pick a Sender Email When Testing Your Buzz Campaigns
If you’re someone who likes to test how your emails look before hitting send and frequently uses the
Send Test Email
feature, we’ve got a new update for you.
Testing your Buzz campaigns just got a little smoother. You can now choose a sender email address when sending test emails — not just a recipient — making the whole experience cleaner and easier to follow.

Choose from your natively integrated mailboxes or your AI email service mailboxes, with warmup timing conveniently shown next to each one. Simple, clear, and one less thing to worry about.

Whitelabel Admins Can Now Set a Default Theme for New Devices
Whitelabel admins can now set a default theme — light or dark — for any new device a user logs in from. Head to
Admin Settings > Color and Assets
to choose your preferred configuration, and every new device logged into after the changes are saved will automatically reflect the theme you've set:

Current users who are already logged in on their devices will need to clear their browser cookies to see the updated default theme reflected.

You can now
save AI Employees without connecting Calendly right away
. That means you can create an Employee, save it as a draft at any step, and come back later to connect Calendly without losing any progress along the way.
We’ve also added a
manual refresh button
for event types. If your Calendly changes don’t update automatically, just hit refresh and you’re good to go:

to watch previews or see the current generation status without having to open the editor.
